About us
Mike Peterson and Dr. Kevin Cavanaugh created PCG in 2020 with the goal of delivering elite corn genetics to independent seed companies. Both Mike and Kevin have a passion and background for delivering high performing products to their customers. Headquartered in Atlanta, IN with operations in Story City, IA, PCG has quickly gained access to new, innovative, elite corn genetics and built a top tier team of people. We want our success to be the result of the success that our customers experience from using PCG’s products.
What we do
PCG sources new, innovative, elite corn genetics and trait solutions from the top genetics and technology programs. We create hybrid combinations and thoroughly test them through our extensive field-testing network. Armed with this data and our own field observations from across the US, we identify top tier corn genetics and create placement recommendations to make our customers successful. With excellent service and deep knowledge of each customers’ business, we discover opportunities to help our customers better serve their farmer customers.
